Postage rates for letters
All prices are valid from January 1, 2026, and are exempt from VAT unless otherwise stated. The prices below apply to direct-payment customers.

Payment for Registered Mail with Stamps Discontinued
The payment option for domestic and international Registered Mail with stamps at our service points will be discontinued on December 31, 2025. Alternative payment methods for those currently using stamps for Registered Mail will be cash at our service points or digitally via the PostNord App and postnord.se.

Express letter
Delivery is normally the following business day, Monday–Friday, except in certain geographical directions and zip codes (pdf in Swedish).

Purchase Express letter either at a service point or at postnord.se. Print a shipping label, affix it to the mail item and drop it off at a service point.
Express letter may not contain means of payment and can not be posted on the mailbox.
Registered mail
When you need to send mail containing important goods or documents. You'll receive a receipt, and the recipient will sign the letter.

Physical notifications by letter is normally delivered within two working days after drop-off to an additional charge of 16 SEK. Digital notifications by SMS or email is free of charge.

Skicka Hem
Trackable mail service with delivery to the recipient’s mailbox, for objects, goods, and documents weighing up to 2 kg.

Your mail item may be at most 60 cm long.
Purchase Skicka Hem at postnord.se or PostNord App. Print a shipping label, affix it to the mail item, and drop it off at a postal agent. The service can be tracked. The service is not an additional service to another service. In addition, it is not possible to buy any additional services for this service.
Skicka Hem is normally distributed within two working days after drop-off. If the letter is too large to fit in the mailbox, it can be collected from a PostNord service point.

Registered Mail International
When you need to send mail containing important documents. You’ll receive a receipt, and the recipient signs on delivery. Registered Mail International may be sent to all countries.

Letters containing goods shall have an address label with a unique item ID number, customs documentation, and customs EDI, which can be created via Buy postage. With this information stored electronically, the delivery time can be faster compared to letters with stamps. It is important that you write the sender's name and address on the letter; otherwise, PostNord cannot send the letter to the receiving country.
